
Cathy has worked in rhino conservation since 2001, and is a Member of the IUCN SSC African and Asian Rhino Specialist Groups. She has dedicated her professional life to focusing on the three Critically Endangered species of rhino: black, Sumatran and Javan.

Susie served as Executive Director of the International Rhino Foundation from 2006-20, where she oversaw the organization’s operations, strategic planning, fundraising efforts, marketing, communications and public outreach. A Member of the Asian Rhino Specialist Group, and formerly of the AfRSG, she has also worked on terrestrial and marine conservation programs in sub-Saharan Africa, Indonesia and the Philippines.

Margaret is a global authority on wildlife conservation with more than 40 years of experience in Asia, Africa and Latin America working on endangered species, protected area management, and capacity- building of young, developing nation scientists. Margaret worked as a research biologist with the Wildlife Conservation Society for 26 years, including eight years as Executive Director of the Mpala
Research Center in Kenya. Most recently, she led WWF’s international wildlife practice, where she was responsible for the strategic design and implementation of WWF’s global wildlife program. Margaret lives in Nairobi, Kenya and serves on the Mpala Research Center’s Advisory Board for Rhino Range Expansion in Kenya.
Jennifer is an experienced conservation scientist. Having worked as a researcher, project coordinator and university lecturer, with skills in sustainable development, her focus now is on applied conservation ecotourism as Chief Impact Officer of Natural Selection Pty. She is based primarily in Botswana, but has previously lived and worked in Namibia and South Africa.


Nancy was the former African Rhino Program Officer for the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, where she championed support for site-based conservation of black rhinos. She is dedicated to mentoring emerging wildlife conservation leaders and is the co-founder of LeAP: Leadership for Africa’s Parks that teaches new conservation leadership skills through African universities to protected & conserved area staff.
